DALIA Head Office Art Introduction

DALIA Head Office Art Introduction
In the office on the second floor of DALIA's head office, the white walls are decorated with eye-catching artwork. This valuable work was created by a young calligrapher, Ms.Fuku Nakamura, inspired by the image of the company "DALIA". Here are some of Ms.Nakamura's thoughts on her work.
■ Title: "Fukujujin"
Background of words wishing people happiness, such as “Fuku” and “Kotobuki” (longevity).
"I wrote the creative word "Bishou" (beauty smile) because I myself feel that when I get my hair done, I feel more confident and smile. DALIA is a company that connects people through hair. Therefore, I expressed the Chinese character for "person" as if long hair were fluttering."
On each of the five panels, the character for “person” was written in bold letters to connect the panels.
〈Each panel theme〉
・1th “Pasmal (not bad)” “Fortune” “Four Longevity”
・2th “Bishou (beautiful smile)” “Four Longevity” “Sympa (cool)” “Japanese soul” “Arakon”
・3th “Fukuju” “Onifuku” “Fuku” “Kiju” “Iroha Uta”
・4th “Iroha Uta” “Fuku” “Longevity” “Bonheur”
・5th “Hana” “Oni” “Fuku” “Fuku”
■ Profile: Calligraphy Artist Ms. Fuku Nakamura
She grew up in Fukuoka with Nakamura dolls, traditional Hakata dolls. Her father, Mr. Shinkyo Nakamura (*1), is a Hakata doll maker, and her elder brother is Mr. Hiromine Nakamura (*2). She is active as a calligraphy artist who fuses calligraphy and art outside the box.
She started her career in calligraphy at the age of three. After graduating from university, she has been creating works under the moto "Calligraphy as art." Her concept is to make calligraphy accessible to everyone—people of all ages, both men and women, and even those who have never heard of calligraphy before.
